1. My school is going down the hellhole. First they're not letting any seniors take HL1 classes or SL1 and they dont have AP except for Calc and US History so there are no challenging courses. And then they're changing the weighting system so all IB SL classes get NO weight. And HLs and APs only get .3 of a weighting. So really the valedictorian could be someone who takes all easy classes and gets A+'s, and there are people who do that. Fucking school, senior year is going to blow.

2. I'm going to have a friends cut, so comment here if you want to stay. If you don't comment I'll most likely cut you unless you're on hiatus or I know you pretty well. I want a small flist for the summer and basically some people just dont comment on my journals and I don't comment on theirs, so its pointless to remain friends. ETA: I'm going ahead and making the friends cut now, but leaving this public. There are some of you who I'm just not going to cut, but if I do its because you didn't respond to this so I thought you had no interest in staying. If you do, just comment and I'll add you back =]

3. Done with school! And I just found out that my car broke down and I might not be going to Sharm for the end of the year 'party'. I'm so pissed off, that was my farewell to all of my friends. The car better get fixed.

Oh, I don't drive haha. My parents are driving. I'm only 17, in the states its 16 but I still don't have a license cus I'm always overseas. Here there really isn't a limit hah but I dont think anyone would want to drive here, its CRAZY.

That is so not fair those classes aren't getting any weight! I would be pissed off too, it's really going to mess up your ranking system! Our honors/AP courses have .75 weighting, and all the AP classes are on a 10 point scale (90-100 = A) because the weighting is the same. If it was me, I would protest or something!!

AGH. I would OWN if I had that weighting system. I'm mostly pissed off because by seeing this colleges will think that taking SL cources here isnt that hard and are the same difficulty as other classes, where in reality, for example SL2 Physics is WAY HARDER than Astronomy.

I KNOW! I was SO surprised.
And yep I went to see it- the first time I went it was during the day and there were soo many little kids and ofcourse they were reading the subtitles so they wouldn't shut up and they kept whistling and screaming for every battle decision or kissing scene. so then i went to see it again so i could enjoy it haha.

+ oh dude, that sucks majorly :( this year, my senior year, sucked ass. we got our dances canceled temporarily for "freak dancing" (it was all over the news down here, so retarded) and just everything blows. and i can only imagine how next year will be. glad im outta high school. sigh. but srsly, no challenging classes? oh man, i'd be so pissed off if i were a hardworking kid taking AP classes all throughout high school and then some loser comes along with easy classes and becomes valedictorian. that is messed up.

I'd like to stay if you don't mind. There's only a handful of people I can gush about FNL with.

Funny that you mention that about your school. Mine was similar with people and their GPAs and such. But they'd take the bare minimum of total classes and not take extracurricular classes so it wouldn't drop their GPA since it wasn't worth as much as honors/AP classes.

Yikes! I hope you can find a way to get to that party.
